Who We Are
Jack E. Clark, PhD
Jack has been a research professional for more than 25 years. He began his career with a traditional focus on psychology, counselor education and academic research. In 1984, he began to apply these skills to business and industry at IBM in Charlotte, where he helped conduct their employee opinion survey. He subsequently joined The Charlotte Observer and Knight-Ridder, Inc. as Employee Relations Manager. In this capacity he was responsible for working with managers and employees in the areas of morale, supervision, development and personnel research.
In 1989, he moved to KPC Research, a subsidiary business for Knight-Ridder, Inc., as a manager and project director providing market research to businesses, media, government and non-profit agencies nationwide. He was promoted to Advertising Marketing Manager for the parent company before returning as Director of KPC Research in 2002. Jack co-founded Clark & Chase Research, Inc., a full-service provider of quantitative and qualitative market research in 2006.
Jack graduated from the University of Florida with a doctorate from the College of Education. During this time he focused on the principles underlying human behavior and developed his facilitation skills. He brings this understanding into all phases of the research process, including questionnaire design, study execution and the interpretation of the results. Jack is also an experienced focus group moderator.
